About Anita

​Anita McReynolds-Lidbury is a consummate quality professional dedicating the last 20 years of her esteemed career as a Subject Matter Expert advocating for corporate-level quality programs for Federally Funded transit projects valuing $1 Billion or greater. Anita has lent her experience in quality to the Federal Transit Administration as a Project Management Oversight Consultant and as a quality consultant for contractors and various transit agencies across the United States. 

Anita was most recently the Director of Quality for Austin Transit Partnership - formed under a joint-powers agreement – between the local transit agency and the City of Austin, TX - working wonders by bringing the experiences in her years of cultivating Quality Programs from conception, development and the nearly impossible task of implementation to an estimated $10 Billion Program including Light Rail Transit, Bus Rapid Transit, Vehicle Procurement, and Combined Maintenance Facility Construction.

In addition to standing up Quality Programs all over the United States, Anita is certified by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) as a Certified Manager of Quality for Organizational Excellence and as a Certified Quality Auditor, she is a current Executive Board Member and Past-Chair for Design & Construction Quality for ASQ. She’s also internationally certified as a Lead ISO Auditor and an ISO Registrar for Quality Programs and is a co-author of the Federal Transit Administration’s Quality Management System Guidelines for 2012 and 2019. Anita is happily married to her husband, John and has 2 sons, and 1 daughter. She enjoys traveling, good food, putting miles on a Harley and fashionable shoes. She speaks fluent Sarcasm and bleeds quality principles all over the quality plans she’s asked to review for the betterment of our transit systems and our world.

SHEQ Manager Remote / Hybrid Working Model Leading Telecoms and Renewable energy infrastructure Job Overview The SHEQ Manager, is pivotal in ensuring that the organisation leads the way in Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality processes. With SHEQ as one of the main pillars of the business this role will help to ensure we exceed the requirements within the SHEQ jurisdiction. This position is based in the Ireland and will be the day-to-day interface for SHEQ, in Ireland. Fire Safety Officer Sevenoaks, Kent Part time - 3 days a week £20,000 - £24,000 Shirley Parsons have partnered with Sevenoaks School to appoint their Fire Safety Officer. This is a part time position, where the successful candidate will work a 24 hour week across three days. The aim of the role is to drive a positive fire safety culture, through ensuring the provision of a comprehensive and effective fire safety service across all of the school sites and buildings (including residential accommodation). This will involve reviewing all relevant policies, procedures and systems to ensure that they are fit for purpose and that there is a culture of continuous improvement in all matters relating to fire.
