SHEQ Manager Remote / Hybrid Working Model Leading Telecoms and Renewable energy infrastructure Job Overview The SHEQ Manager, is pivotal in ensuring that the organisation leads the way in Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality processes. With SHEQ as one of the main pillars of the business this role will help to ensure we exceed the requirements within the SHEQ jurisdiction. This position is based in the Ireland and will be the day-to-day interface for SHEQ, in Ireland. Responsibilities: - Support the SHEQ team in achieving the highest possible Health and Safety standards. - Manage the SHEQ team within Ireland. - Attend management meetings to report on SHEQ performance and seek improvement opportunities. - Be the lead contact point on SHEQ related matters. - Ensure that SHEQ KPI's are monitored, compliant, and where necessary under performance is addressed with relevant line & senior managers - Review weekly SHEQ report, ensuring they are circulated - Ensure that the Site Inspection & Good Catch Trackers are updated weekly - Complete and submit client monthly reports within the timescale required - Prepare, submit, and present the SHEQ slide deck at monthly contract review meetings - Ensure the weekly performance log is completed, and the action log is updated each week - Attend weekly SHEQ 1-2-1 meetings with the SHEQ Director as required - Advise the project teams on all matters of Health, Safety and Environmental in accordance with the company's safety management systems and legislation - Complete weekly on-site inspections of our activities, including joint inspections with clients Qualifications: - Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in a SHEQ role - Hold a current recognised professional Safety qualification - Be persuasive, presentable and confident with a proactive approach. - Be impartial during inspection and investigation activities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. EHS Specialist Dublin/Leixlip - Some travel to UK Leading Manufacturing / Installation business Job Overview The EHS Specialist will have a primary focus on Ireland & UK awith support of other EMEA countries, and will ensure that employees in the business carry out their roles safely and in compliance with local regulatory and legislative environments. In supporting a strong safety culture, the EHS Specialist will deliver guidance and support, playing a major role in the drive to reduce and eliminate hazards through the implementation of robust processes. Main Responsibilities: - Ensure that EHS Management System and strategy are effectively implemented in accordance with the overall strategy. - Identify and update EHS requirements in line with changes to local legislation - Participate or oversee internal and external EHS management system audits to ensure that the EHS management system operates effectively. - Support and/or carry out product risk assessment/environment registration - Provide EHS induction/training to new and frontline employees regularly. - Run local annual safety week event. - Assist with ISO audit preparation and delivery. - Support the EHS Manager EMEA on regional priorities and as required, and collaborate with the EMEA team to share best practices and contribute to the improvement of our systems and processes Skills / Knowledge / Experience: - Qualification in Environmental Health & Safety or a qualification in Safety engineering, environmental engineering. - Qualification in an engineering discipline desirable. - The job holder must be an accomplished safety specialist with a track record of improved safety performance. Environmental Compliance Manager Based in County Westmeath Permanent opportunity, with extensive benefits package. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, preparing and implementing key Environmental strategies while also proactively identifying situations that might pose an Environmental compliance risk. This is a mid-level management role based on site at our Westmeath plant. Key Responsibilities:The following reflect the main tasks associated with your position and are not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive:- Manage, develop and implement the day-to-day requirements of the site industrial Emissions Licence. - Lead the environmental team to ensure that all requirements for site permits and licences (i.e. EPA, EU ETS) and site accreditation (ISO 14001) are provided accurately and on time. - Guide the Environmental Team in the development, review and implementation of suitable procedures, business practice and solutions. - Prepare monthly reports to feed into the business and group sustainability plan. - Monitor and gain a full understanding of relevant environmental legislation updates and regulations impacting on the business, ensuring necessary changes are applied promptly and in accordance with standard procedures. - Maintain relationships with and perform as a liaison between the company with regulatory agencies. - Demonstrate flexibility and undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet the daily business needs on matters arising. Skills, Knowledge And Expertise:- Strong experience in an environmental supervisory role, 7+ years. - Qualification in Environmental / Sustainability management to degree level. - Experience in reviewing Environmental Impact Assessment Reports - Strong IT skills - Have a calm and confident manner to handle any challenging situations and promptly ensure that any corrective actions are implemented without delay.
