Responsibilities: - Support the SHEQ team in achieving the highest possible Health and Safety standards. - Manage the SHEQ team within Ireland. - Attend management meetings to report on SHEQ performance and seek improvement opportunities. - Be the lead contact point on SHEQ related matters. - Ensure that SHEQ KPI's are monitored, compliant, and where necessary under performance is addressed with relevant line & senior managers - Review weekly SHEQ report, ensuring they are circulated - Ensure that the Site Inspection & Good Catch Trackers are updated weekly - Complete and submit client monthly reports within the timescale required - Prepare, submit, and present the SHEQ slide deck at monthly contract review meetings - Ensure the weekly performance log is completed, and the action log is updated each week - Attend weekly SHEQ 1-2-1 meetings with the SHEQ Director as required - Advise the project teams on all matters of Health, Safety and Environmental in accordance with the company's safety management systems and legislation - Complete weekly on-site inspections of our activities, including joint inspections with clients Qualifications: - Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in a SHEQ role - Hold a current recognised professional Safety qualification - Be persuasive, presentable and confident with a proactive approach. - Be impartial during inspection and investigation activities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Environmental Compliance Manager Based in County Westmeath Permanent opportunity, with extensive benefits package. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, preparing and implementing key Environmental strategies while also proactively identifying situations that might pose an Environmental compliance risk. This is a mid-level management role based on site at our Westmeath plant.
