Liam Tiddy

Head of Search

About Liam

I have worked for Shirley Parsons since its creation in 2005. Over the years I’ve experienced working with organisations across all sectors and across many countries. As one of the first hires, I have been fortunate in being able to help shape the company and see it grow into the industry leader it is today.

Initially I headed up the Manufacturing & Logistics team, before setting up our Executive Search division. The team and I manage senior appointments for the company across our key sectors of Health & Safety, Sustainability & ESG and Quality.

Away from work and family duties, I used to play rugby, and still an avid follower of the sport. From a participation point of view these days, I’m often spotted on the tennis court.

“Liam and his team provided an excellent and efficient service, sourcing a number of potential candidates for a very challenging, unique and complex role. Outcome - position filled in record time by a high potential safety professional with leadership savy and courage to challenge the way we do things!!!”

- Richard Greer CEng, Safety & Industrial Hygiene Capability Leader at General Motors

“Liam has consistently provided an excellent level of service over the years I have worked with him as a customer. His thorough knowledge of the HSE market ensures that the candidate quality is of a very high standard. Liam undertakes his work thoroughly with a great deal of intelligence, dedication and integrity which usually ensures the smoothest recruitment process possible.”

- Sean Cusack CFIOSH, HSE & Facilities Director EMEAI at Honeywell Aerospace USA

“Blending pace and urgency with attentiveness, full detail and a genuine personal touch, Liam has a finger on the pulse of the UK safety industry. Whether looking to hire or considering personal options, Liam is one of those people that you need to know.”

– Dr Andrew Sharmen, Founder & Chairman at One Percent Safer

“Liam has been an exceptional contact in a first rate Interim Service Provider. I received an outstanding service which resulted not only in personal and professional benefits for me and my organisation, but he supported a series of seamless contract extensions for which I will always be grateful. A highly personable individual who is results focused, commercial and innovative in his approach. I look forward to continuing to work with Liam in the coming months and years.”
