A laeding oil & gas company is looking for an EHS Representative to join its team in Longview, TX. Travelling regionally across their operations and sites you will be responsible for driving forward EHS performance at a job-site level, ensuring a commitment towards the corporate EHS goals. The Role:
- Advise all operational, project and maintenance teams (Production, Drilling, Completions) across the region on EHS issues - ensuring all employees remain committed to establishing an industry leading safety culture
- Undertake safety inspections, incident investigations and audits as deemed necessary
- Maintain area specific SPCC, LDAR, and GHG monitoring plans.
- Assists EHS staff with due diligence and environmental remediation projects.
- Lead safety meetings and site-specific safety training for all site/facility employees
- Ensure the sites remain compliant with both local and federal regulatory bodies e.g. OSHA
The Candidate:
- Hold a bachelors degree in Safety, Engineering, or related technical field (preferred)
- Possess at a minimum 3-5 years hands on safety experience working in the onshore oil & gas industry
- Strong communicator who is able to effectively engage with key internal and external stakeholders across all business levels
- Based near Longview, TX and able to travel as required (Relocation Assistance on offer for non-local candidates)
