Description

A global infrastructure manufacturing firm is seeking an EHS Director to lead the development and implementation of Global EHS policies, programs, and sustainability initiatives aligned with the organizational goals. The incumbent will manage both corporate and manufacturing facilities in Nebraska as well as operational sites around the world. 

The Role:

• Develop and implement global EHS policies, programs, & training materials in order to cultivate a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
• Lead EHS initiatives to standardize programs, procedures, and expectations across all global sites while ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practices working with teams at the local level.
• Collaborate across all business functions (e.g. Operations, HR, Legal) to ensure compliance for identified issues, violations, and business challenges.
• Collaborate on appropriate Sustainability (ESG) projects/initiatives that reduce energy usage and carbon emissions that positively impact the environment and ROI.

The Candidate:

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Occupational Health, Engineering, Environmental Health and Safety, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, including EHS program leadership and team management.
• Demonstrated experience in building and developing a strong safety culture.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
