About Gerry

Gerry was a founding member of Shirley Parsons Professional Services in 2005 with the aim of becoming the world’s go-to organisation for HSEQ. With the business market leader in EMEA, Gerry co-founded Shirley Parsons in the US in 2014. It has now grown rapidly with locations in Boston and LA.

Gerry has been involved in Project Services since 2014 overseeing a strategic partnership that provides staff augmentation services delivering major projects across the renewable energy and technology sectors. In 2016, Gerry initiated Leadership First; a community that promotes a “Mind-set Approach” to long term change, leading to better business outcomes.

A global chemicals manufacturing company is seeking a Sr. EHS Leader to help lead the Americas program, providing support to all of their facilities in North America. This business is investing heavily in its EHS programs and is developing a Gold-Standard EHS culture. The successful candidate will be tasked with influencing a healthy environmental culture, requiring the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at various levels of the business.The Role: Develop and implement EHS programs to be utilized at all of the company’s locations in North America.Manage, conduct, and oversee site training programs across all facilities.Manage, coach, and lead site EHS direct reports.Create programs and initiatives and present them to the executive team, site leadership, and the corporate EHS team.Inspect facilities to determine existing or potential incident, accident, or health hazards and develop corrective or preventive measures.Create monthly reports depicting progress towards EHS goals and any agency/regulatory inspections/violations.
